Growing Up In Terengganu

Digesting this right now, this very minute.

I had this for such a long time, but had to prioritise the mounts of book for Literarture and Media (mind you, I wish we study this one instead for that course)

After a few pages, I realised that Awang Goneng's memories of Terengganu (or Trengganu as he warmly call her) are different compared to mine. I blame this to the fact that we grew up in different era, at different location, I felt like writing a Felda version of Growing up in Terengganu. Nevertheless, our memories of Trengganu is both as rich and warm as Nasi Dagang served on fragrant banana leaves.

One thing for sure, it makes me miss her more And more, Trengganu I mean, cant wait for this semester to end!

with the revisions and readings I did this past few days, the right thing i need is some quality time hanging out with the friends I Love.

And I did just that.

Muneer and Mubarak invited Azim (http://azim387.blogspot.com/) and me to their apartment in PJ, where they reside before moving to Cemara. Later they promise us for a feast in some Arabian restaurant.

Do I reject their offer? Of course not darl.......

A salad consists of chopped tomatoes, parsleys and cucumber with lemon juice and olive oil.

Seriously, this Tabouleh is nice, the combination of lemon juice and parsleys is new to me, and I like it!

-Hummus Tahina حمص
Hummus mixed with tahina sauce and olive oil.

Hummus? ape tu? Tahina sauce? pelik bunyinya.

-Shish Tawook شيش طاووك
Boneless chicken breast marinated and grilled then served with garlic sauce and French fries.

Abis dah makan, kami kenyang! hehee

Tapi yg bestnye tuh, Mubarak ngan Muneer belanje aku ngan Azim, haha, rugi dok mintak mahal2 sket.

But anyway, thank you guys, I enjoyed tasting a piece of your gastronomical culture from the Hors d'oeuvre to the Entrée...............kalau boleh nak lagi, hihihihihi.

And oh the sensation of breeze licking my scalp, it was almost saintly! 

It was like, leaving all my past regrets behind and starting anew.

The downside, my scars and jerawats on my forehead are now thousand time more visible.

And, yes, for additional information, this is not my first time going bald, this is my regular look back home at IPKB.

And Shikin named her Adik

Adik was born from scraps of newspaper, tissues and handsock, I personally glued her, make her a nest and gave her shape. The girls gave her eyes, mouth and a more proper house.

Are we playing Pygmallion? yeah, kind of I guess, for our MTLS creative project!

Adik is a part of our board game we create for English class. I wont explain the details of how to play (malas). But our aim is to promote fun and introduce novelty in language learning.

Yay, just finish my final evaluation for my Debate class! walau hanya dapat 29 out of 40 (hambek ko!) akibat prestasiku ketika lincah melontarkan isi - isi bernas seraya membangkang pandangan pihak lawan yang goyah itewww!

The motion for my final grand debate was "Program realiti tv sudah hilang kerealitiannya", hambek, not really a fan of AF and that is what the opponent keep on talking about, my knowledge of Khai, Mas and Rosma is as appaling as my passion for everything that is smelly and disgusting.

Just finished my microteaching today! seronokkah? seronok sangat, biarpun cuma mengajar kawan2 sendiri, but it was like, you know, having the butterfly flying in your stomach kind of feeling, hehe. so are you a good teacher? I dont think so, there are lots of holes I need to cover. I stammer and lost for words, nampak sangat ko sediakan skrip awal2 and then hafal, pastuh masuk kelas, ngadap diorang pastuh everthing flew out the window, hehe. Bak kata org tua-tua tempat jauh lagikan dikenang, begitulah agaknya perasan saudara - saudara kita dari Yaman yang meninggalkan keluarga dan rakan - rakan di tanah air semata-mata kerana dahagakan ilmu. Atas kesedaran itulah Jabatan Perwakilan Pelajar kolej di mana pelajar Yaman tadi tinggal Cemara/Akasia) telah berusaha mengadakan suatu majlis kecil - kecilan untuk megalu - laukan kedatangan mereka di suatu tarikh yang telah saya lupai kerna ianya telah lama berlangsung, hanya baru - baru ini saya berpeluang mengepost an entry mengenainya, hehe.

My life is literally in hell this past few week, and I will no longer succumb to despair, I just want to dance to the beat of Jai Ho that I listen a lot lately and live my life like I will die tommorow (parrrrrrtaayy!)
