Unexpected expectations

Life is full of suprises, and I think that this is a reason enough for us human to to be thankful for every twist and turn we encountered daily.

But, no matter how we see things, in the end we are fragile little souls that crumbled easily when life took an abrupt turn (referring to myself)

So as we go on with our daily life, lets just regard whatever unexpected turn we met along the way as lessons learned and carry on with life as if we going to die tommorrow! WOOOOHOOO

(Ramzi, kenape tetiba nak bermotivasi pepagi buta ini? hehe)

Ya! aku mengerti, aku mengerti dengan begitu dalam sekali......

'Silence is a bored friend, He is there but never exist'

Salam wahai pembaca setia blog suci ku ini (adakah?)

Tujuan saya meng 'quote' some kata - kata by some unknown writer (maaf lupa namanya, memories fade as we ourselves will eventually fade) bukanlah kerna ingin mewujudkan ambience ala - ala kelas sastera lagaknya, tetapi hanyalah ingin menyampaikan kebosanan hati dan juga sedikit kekecewaan sebenarnya.

LAPTOP KU ROSAKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

there!

fuh!

legaa!

My one and only laptop, given by my beloved daddy two years ago had finally decided that she had enough (yes, a she, because I named her kiki), pack her bags and  never to fully function as she supposed to, wuuuuuu, Kiki jahat!!!!

But fear not! because I had consult this genius-of-a-techno-wiz-kid, Wan Mohd Khairul Abidin Bin Wan Majid (who happened to be one of my closest friends, thank you very much!) and he had explained that he can easily fix it it with the blink of his eye, wah, talk about exaggeration!

So right now I am waiting for the semester to open and then I can hand her to him.

Meaning that I have to endure days of torturous torture of not listening to oh-so-sweet-voice of Ken Hirai singing Even If before I close my eye on my journey to neverland. ~sigh~

Well anyway, here in a nutshell what I accomplish this weeks of  Kiki-less.

I finished The Legend Of Zelda, The Phantom Hourglass

And best of all, I did not refer to any walkthroughs. Apa itu Walkthroughs some may ask, well my dear reader of this blog yang suci, Walkthroughs are guides written by players who had finish the game. Some gamers yang pemalas (saya merujuk kepada yours truly) depends on this to finish certain games. But not this time kerna laptopku rosak, hihi. Overall, The game was good, putting video gaming to another level shall I say, manipulates DS touch screen features to the limit and I enjoyed that three stages of final fight against Bellum. Wohooo!

I finished Suikoden Tierkreis

Hmmm, good storyline, I quite enjoyed the gameplay. But oh dear me! the english sub is just way too terible, just like my english and my spelling, hehe. But really, the sub really ruin if not a great RPG for the DS, but as a newbie to Suikoden cult, I should say that I enjoyed this one.

I finished Rune Factory 2

Finally! after months (no kidding!) of sweating and levelling and mining and farming and fishing and winning the heart of virtual wife, I finished this insanely fun game! create as a fantasy version of Harvest Moon, you can expect a lot of weapon slashing and spell conjuring while growing up your crops, win the heart of everyone in the village, and finally settle down with the girl of your dream. It is cleverly design that in order to battle, you have to farm, and to farm, you have to battle. A promising cult indeed from the genius behind Harvest Moon!

There, out of boredom I finished three reviews on games!

Eh! sonoklah plak, lepas ni nak cuba buat game reviews lagi here lah!

Anyway, need to thank my sis for her laptop and her broadband. Timo kasih banyok

Hmmmm, dok tahu nok royak gapo kawe!

P/s: title langsung tiada kena mengena dengan entry, motif????

Ketupat Squid ala Kampung

Kawan2, result kita dah kuar...

eh, salah taip, ya kawan-kawan, tujuan saya bersiaran kali ini bukanlah untuk mengdiskusikan result kita itew, kerna saya bersyukur ya kawan - kawan, walau hampeh tetapi lulus jua.

Baiklah bebalik kepada tajuk kita sebentar tadi (jap eh, nak switch mood)

'Who is the world's greatest cook kawan - kawan?' tanyaku kepada sekumpulan anak muda yang sedang alpa dengan dunia pada suatu petang. 'mak aku!!!!!' diorang jawab in unison, lagak seperti choral speaking lagaknya

Ya kawan, betapa jauh kita merantau, bila nak mentekedarah, kita tetap ingat msakan emak di kampung yg sedap, warm and humble lagaknya.

Begitulah juga kesnya dengan mak saya, never fail to prepare something when his beloved son yang bongsu ni balik rumah, nasi lemak la (my personal favourite) sup ayam la, laksa penang la, nasi kerabu la atau Terengganu Special, nasi dagang! haaaaa!

But sometimes, when her chef wan mood kicking in, she pulled out her old, dusty cook book and began concocting something exotic and exciting (and when I say exotic, I dont mean katak masak kicap @ belalang kunyit gulai)

I am referring to right now, banyak lemak seyhh!

Anway, if you are native to Terengganu, this certain cooking is not that alien sebab ianya agak popular di sini. Anyway, meh kita jenguk - jenguk a few pictures that I snapped while me momm was busy working her magic ingredient, wooooosshhh!

Dah masak, apa lagi, melahap lah, gambar di atas adalh bagaimana one whole ketupat squid, before it it was effortlessly been consumed by anak jantan mak yang tak tahu malu ini. Notice the thick white kuah lemak yg melengkapkan rasanya yang lemak - lemak manis itew!!!

Okay, one last look sebelum ianya disumbat ke mulut, nasi pulut yang direndam dengan penuh kasih sayang bersama secret herbs and spices itu lagak teksturnya lebih kurang seperti ketupat palas biasa sahaja, namun sejurus ianya mendakap indah your tastebuds, akan terasa euphoria of lemak manis yang tak terkata itew!!!!, oh!

thanks mak! taknak balik shah alam!

A new crunchy look

I woke up this morning (havent sleep at all actually) and decided this mossy, ancient look of my blog need some serious makeover. So a little touch up here, a little adjustment there, there you go, a new, refreshing (more to gloomy I think) and apple-scrumptiously, lip-smacking (put your own adjectives here) new look!

And that old banner yg kerol buat is back! it wont stay long though, nak paksa kerol buat banner baru lepas ni, hihi.

And like I said on Facebook, this new look will now justify my love for apples even more! YAY!

If I can read a character out from a book.......

Blame it on Inkheart, now I want Mortimer's and Meggie's power of reading out character from a book into our world, will it be wonderful? here is my list of four character I wanna read out.

1. Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Order of Merlin, First Class (siap ngan pangkat skali)

Nape? I need to learn magic of course! no matter how unrealistic this will sounds to u guys, but as a Potterfan, I believe in magic! and oh, did you know Jo said that he is gay? and who will suitable for that othe than the headmaster himself? love his cool, calm aura, his witty personality and how his character change when things got serious.

2. Samwise Gamgee

a loyal friend who sticks to you through thick n thin? I need that!

3. Tinker Bell

I dont want to grow up!!!!! take me to Neverland Tink! it is the second star to the left right? (or is it right? lupa ah)

4. The Cheshire Cat

no reason, just a character from my Alice in wonderland, happens to be my favourite story ever! I mean, we often seen a cat without a grin but never a grin without a cat, or do you?

but in order to take them out, I have to give back something in, this is how things goes with the power, Meggie lost her mother into Inkheart when Mortimer accidentally read Basta, Capricorn and Dustfinger out into our world. Dont really mind though, I have many things and people I dont like in our world, wanna me list them out?

Where wild things are

An important lesson I learnt from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy is please refer to the original form of any movie adaptation, be it a novel, poems or even video games. Because I started reading LOTR after I engrossed with the movies, and a huge mistake it was, because later when I land my hand on the book, I loss motivation to finish it.

Anyway, got to grab this before I watch the movie, Where wild things are by Maurice Sendak

Although it is a children picture book consisting of only ten sentences, this is a gem in illustrated children literature, Written in 1963, it was awarded the Caldecott Medal in 1964. It also won the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award and was an ALA Notable Book.

just hoping to just browse through before its movie version later

Am finising Inkheart right now, it is hard to stay focus though, not when you have about ten video games to finish before the start of new term (refer to my previous post)
